A recent phone conversation with my mother, who just returned from being all Army-ish in Iraq….
We are so glad to have her home, safe and sound.
Note to reader, Lola is my four month old daughter. She is, might I add, the most precious thing you have ever laid eyes on.
Becca: Hey, Mama! What are you doing!?
Mama: Don’t worry. I bought Lola a Fourth of July outfit today at Cracker Barrel.
Becca: Naturally.
Mama: It is so cute. It is of course, red, white, and blue. It has stars and stripes all over it and an accompanying hat. She needs some sunglasses though.
Becca: Mama, she is four months old.
Mama: Well she is still proud to be an American!
Have I mentioned I am so happy to be back in Tennessee!!!?
